In March 2008, an idea was spawned among the members of www.CustomFighters.com to build a streetfighter using the talents and resources of all the forum members. As the idea evolved it was felt best to put the bike up for auction after its completion. The proceeds of the sale would benifit a worth while and reputable charity orginization. In true CustomFighters fashion, the charity was chosen democraticly by member votes. 20+ charities were reserched and voted on. In the end, 2 charities came within such close contention the decission was made to split the procedes equaly between the 2. St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital and The National Motorcycle Saftey Fund were chosen to be the recipients.

The platform for the build is a 1991 GSXR750 that StreetKORE has donated to the project. The bike was a stale project that was siting in pieces for the better part of a year prior to this event. It was such a worthy cause and such a great chance to further the exposure of the fighter community that there was no better reason not to jump start this project.

The community has really banded together to make this bike great. Many skilled members have offered up their services and one off bits. Also, sponsors have steped forward to offer some great fighter kit. The goal is to have unique and quality modifications to as much of the bike as possible. Lending examples of everyone involved. StreetKORE will be doing the majority of the build, but helping hands will be droping in along the way to make this a members project.
